METALISTAS LT, UAB is implementing the project “Implementation of METALISTAS LT, UAB process/organizational innovations increasing the company’s integration into international value chains” No. 02-040-K-0198 from 19 November 2024 to 19 November 2026, co‑financed under the 2022–2030 Development Programme of the Ministry of the Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania, Progress Measure No. 05 001-01-05-07 “Create a consistent system for promoting innovation activities”, activity “Promote the development of non‑technological innovations (Central and Western Lithuania region).

The main objective of the project is to implement service design and process/organizational innovations within the company, thereby increasing its involvement in international value chains.

The project aims to:

1. Increase efficiency and promote innovation;
2. Ensure long-term maintenance of quality and innovativeness;
3. Become an even more sustainably operating organization;
4. Effectively adapt to a rapidly changing environment and innovation dynamics;
5. Strengthen competitive position in the international market.

Project implementation period: 2024‑11‑19 – 2026‑11‑19.

Project budget: EUR 294,095.44.

ES Project investment in increasing competitiveness in export markets

METALISTAS LT, UAB implements the project “METALISTAS LT UAB investment in increasing competitiveness in export markets” No. 02-036-K-0138 from 2024 April 10 until 2026 October 1 co-financed under the economic transformation and competitiveness development program progress measure of the Ministry of Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania, manager of the 2022-2030 development program no. 05-001-01-11-04 “Implementing measures to promote the growth of export competitiveness” activity “Promotion of SME activity internationalization and identification of new export markets (Central and Western Lithuania region)”.
The main goal of the project is to increase the competitiveness and internationality of METALISTAS LT, UAB.
In implementing the project, the company foresees the activities of participation in international exhibitions, production certification activities and website creation/updating activities. The project aims to: expand in new foreign markets, establish relations with strategic partners and present our products to foreign interested parties and increase the competitive advantage of the products in different markets; creating a website is necessary for the search and development of foreign markets.

The opportunity to receive funding (EUR 209412.00 Eur ) under the joint project “Investment Support for Individual Electricity Storage Devices” (project No. 03-009-J-0001-J06-00248), after submitting an application to the Lithuanian Energy Agency, encouraged UAB “Metalistas LT” to plan the installation of a lithium iron phosphate energy storage system with a capacity of up to 1000 kWh.

“The joint project is implemented under the Recovery and Resilience Plan ‘New Generation Lithuania’, financed by the European Union’s Recovery and Resilience Facility ‘NextGenerationEU’.

Development of Sustainable Marine Mufflers

Project objective – To develop a new generation of ship mufflers that provide a noise reduction of no less than 10 dB.

The project is implemented under the Development Programme’s Progress Measure No. 05-001-01-04-02 “Encourage companies to transition towards a climate-neutral economy”, Activity “Create conditions for the sustainable transformation of industrial SMEs”, sub-measures “Promote the creation and demonstration of innovative, environmentally friendly (i.e., sustainable) technologies that encourage the production of sustainable products in very small, small, and medium-sized industrial enterprises (Central and Western Lithuania region)” and “Implementation of environmental management systems in accordance with international standards and/or conducting technological production audits; ecological design, eco-labelling, certification (Central and Western Lithuania region)”, as set out in the project financing description approved by the Order No. 4-635 of the Minister of Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania of 28 November 2024 “On the amendment of the Order No. 4-861 of 11 July 2022 of the Minister of Economy and Innovation ‘On the approval of the description of the Progress Measure No. 05-001-01-04-02 of the 2022–2030 Economic Transformation and Competitiveness Development Programme – Encourage companies to transition towards a climate-neutral economy’” (Annex 16), in the Project Administration and Financing Rules (hereinafter – the Rules) approved by the Order No. 1K-237 of 22 June 2022 of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania “On the implementation of the 2021–2027 European Union Funds Investment Programme and the Economic Recovery and Resilience Plan ‘NextGeneration Lithuania’”, and in compliance with the conditions and procedures established in the EU and Republic of Lithuania legislation referred to therein.

Investments in renewable energy production equipment in an industrial enterprise METALISTAS LT UAB

METALISTAS LT, a successfully operating Lithuanian metal processing company, continues the expansion of the solar power plant park after completing an energy consumption audit, therefore implementing a project during which a 300 kW solar power plant will be installed on the roof of the building at Šermukšnių str. 19, Panevėžys. The "Investments in RES production equipment in the industrial company METALISTAS LT UAB" project is being implemented in accordance with the 2021-2027 European Union funds investment program in order to exploit the potential of a climate-neutral economy in the industry.

The goal of the project is to reduce the intensity of energy consumption in the company, increasing RES production and consumption efficiency.

Also, the solar power plant will contribute to mitigating Lithuania's impact on climate change, solving air pollution, efficient resource use problems, reducing dependence on energy imports and increasing the ratio of renewable energy resources in the overall energy consumption balance. Solar power plant - a production installation using RES that does not emit any gases causing the greenhouse effect, does not have a negative direct or indirect impact during the entire life cycle on adaptation to the climate change goal, does not have any negative impact on people, nature or property, is not related to the needs of individual groups of society satisfaction, no restrictions on equal opportunities will be provided.

Solar energy is one of the cleanest existing technologies for producing electricity, which, with the financing of the European Union's structural funds, is finally becoming competitive with other sources of electricity generation.

The solar power plant is ergonomic, because during its installation there is no need to fundamentally change the electrical engineering solutions operating in the company, the equipment does not need additional land area, since the company plans to use the unused roof area for it, therefore installing a solar power plant is a rational, economically efficient solution for today.

Thus, the successful implementation of the project will help the company to become competitive with other companies, due to energy saving to make production activities more efficient, and to move towards a climate-neutral economy.

ES Project investment in the skills of employees

METALISTAS LT, UAB implements the project "METALISTAS LT, UAB investment in the skills of employees" No. 02-035-K-0179 from 2024 August 21 until 2026 August 21 jointly financed under the Economic Transformation and Competitiveness Development Program of the Ministry of Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania, the manager of the 2022-2030 development program, progress measure no. 05-001-01-05-07 "To create a coherent system for the promotion of innovative activities" activity "To develop the skills of employees needed by very small companies, small companies and medium-sized companies".

The main goal of the project is to improve the skills of employees in the fields of information technology, new processes, materials and technologies.

When implementing the project, developing employees' skills, the aim is to:

1. Increase production efficiency and promote innovation;
2. Provide workers with the necessary skills to integrate the latest technologies, including automation and advanced manufacturing systems;
3. Reduce the shortage of qualified labor force;
4. Promote sustainability and compliance with environmental standards by raising employee awareness of cleaner technologies and sustainable production processes.
