UAB “Metalistas LT” implements project that is partially funded by the European Union
UAB “Metalistas LT” is a metal processing company, which is based on the highest international standards of quality management and environmental protection.

In order to increase the company’s electricity generation capacities and to reduce electricity costs, UAB “Metalistas LT” began the implementation of partially EU funded project “Installation of Power Generation Capacities using Renewable Energy Sources (RES)” No. S-04.2.1-LVPA-K-836-01-0021 (hereinafter referred to as the project). During the implementation of the project, a solar power plant will be installed on the roof of the company’s industrial premises, which will enable the company to reduce its carbon footprint and generate “clean” electricity to meet the needs of the company. Also, the installation of the solar power plant will create preconditions for the growth of the company’s operating volumes, increase of profitability and additional investments in company’s development.
The project is part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund in accordance with the measure “Renewable energy resources for industry LT +” of the 4th priority “Use and Promotion of Energy efficiency and Renewable energy production” No. 04.2.1-LVPA-K-836 of the European Union Investment Fund Action Programme for the period of 2014-2020.
The total value of the project amounts to EUR 196 657.00 of which EUR 101 900.30 is composed of EU funds, and EUR 94 756.70 is the company’s own contribution. Project activities have been started on June 14, 2017 and will be completed on June 14, 2020.
